Unduk Ngadau DBKK 2011

The first Unduk Ngadau competition I went this year is the one I've never failed to attend, since 2008. Would love to share the only few photos that I took. According to David Chg(which I saw from his FB), the top three winners are

3rd Kieren (Tanjung Aru)

But the 2010 queen, miss Lydia is still just so pretty in my opinion ;) ..

Ramadhan Fasting month. 1st day

Ok, Today I went for my first Bazaar ramadhan visit. Eventually its the first day of fasting Ramadhan month, and thankfully it went well. This first day, I went to Bazaar Ramadhan at Asia City Pasar Tani. Usually this market is only open every wednesday and friday morning. But for this whole month, it will be open for business selling a lot of very nice varieties of foods. Here is how I went through it which I manage to capture using my 7D, with my Tokina 12-24mm .. Went there with mo bro, and after that met up with Ak.huzaireen. Get well soon bro..
I parked my car near Asia City Complex, and this is the first photo. On the right side is the Cititel Express Hotel.


As it is the first day, I guess that contributes the crowds. Well its not an easy task going through it.

The kuih tarang bulan(Fullmoon cake). My favorite. I remember the time it was only rm1.00, now its RM1.50 ..

Bunch of traditional cakes.. I didnt grab any. Maybe tomorow..

They say it is always nice to break our fast with dates. But I didnt bought any though..

This guy makes so much noise. But im sure he makes the Martabak Jawa better..

There was an interview going on by a TV crew, I think theire from RTM.

I bought myself a Kue Tiaw goreng from them. Price:Rm1 + a photo snap.. :)

Miss Oriental, D'Junction Preview round

Not wanting to say much. Just wanna share some pics.. :) .. Well, for the Preview rounds, They were required to parade three sets of garments. 1st is the Lolita and Gothic wear by Street2. 2nd, is a coctail dress provided by Sueno Ninas and Finally, the Cheongsam which is provided by the contestants themself. Here I show the lolicute and gothics wear, since it is not always seen.. :)

My birthday, Miss oriental, and profile shooting of Jessie

Recently was my birthday. Had fun at the eve of the countdown with several frens.. Thanks guys for coming.!

Well the next day, on my birthday, I get to do a profile shots of Miss Jessie Sham, one of the coming Miss Oriental contestants.. she definitely can win! So let me share some photos of her, and tell me what you think!

For your info, she was the winner of unduk ngadau for the district of Penampang at 2007, right before Leonie! So I guess I'm very lucky to be able to take her photos..

Rumba Bloggers night

Last week, there was this event called Photo-bloggers night, held at Rumba, Le Meredien. Its a night where you got to bring your camera and shoot anything on sight. So there I was, with the gang equipped with our lovely camera and shoot here and there. That night we were accompanied by two lovely models, The winner of recent Female Icon, Miss Kimmy Majalap, and also 2nd Runner-up, Audrey Ambrose..

Mr Jackson, in action! He was wondering what the hell am I doing, holding my camera on the table for a slow shutter shots..

I still havent had enuf of slow shuttering, since halloween night. I got this effect which includes Audrey and Edrie..

I saw Mr. No-L was enjoying the band, and the band play quite decent stuff. So I tried to do some sorta effects which shows No-L was enjoying what he sees..

Ok, I herad there was a competition, which includes a Chrome image. So this is my entry for it.. I think it looks good enuf to win*Telca hint-hint* hahaha..

Oh yaa, there were this games which a chosen girl of the club gets to do a model pose infront of all the photographers, and whoever got the crowds on their feet wins.. This here is Tati, doing here stuff! A hot one indeed...!

Another contestant which I failed to get her name.. My usual short term memory problem. Pretty cute aint she..?

And finally, the crowds favorites... Melissa! She shudve join modelling cos she sure do know how to pose! No matter how funny some of it was.. hahah..

And as the ongoing event went on, I keep on searching for idea and do all these weird2 stuff my camera can do..

This effects, I forgot how I did it.. But it looks like as if someone had way too many Long Island shots..

Well, since theres lovely models invlolved, why dont make use of my favorite type of photography. Potraiture. Miss Audrey looking cool here..

And Finally our Icon of the year, Miss Kimmy.. she had something to drink for sure, but we were having so much fun to care.. hahah

Thanks Telca for inviting us to the party.. So sad that they have to cut short the event. But we can do it again next time right,..
